Working Pattern



We are flexible for this role and will consider applicants for between 14 - 30 hours per week. We anticipate there will be capacity for this role to progress to full-time hours after 3 months should the candidate wish. We can also be flexible with regards to start & finish times to fit around school run etc. Please include a note with your application specifying your desired working pattern (days, hours etc).

Overview


We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Managing Director. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various office software. We are happy to consider junior applicants provided they can demonstrate excellent administration skills and telephone manner. The successful candidate will play a vital part in streamlining daily operations, managing schedules, and ensuring efficient workflow within the organisation.

Responsibilities



Manage and maintain executive calendars, organise appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements Prepare and edit correspondence, customer quotations, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office etc Handle incoming calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette, and be able to make outgoing sales calls to promote our services to businesses Perform data entry tasks accurately using data management systems and relevant software Assist with general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and organising documents Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of tasks and projects Support with billing, invoicing, and financial record keeping using Xero Organise office supplies and ensure the workspace remains tidy and functional Liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and staff to facilitate smooth communication flow

Requirements



Proven administrative experience, or, previous office experience is essential Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with Xero or similar accounting software is desirable but not essential Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently Excellent typing speed and data entry accuracy Good phone etiquette and professional communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with clerical procedures and office management systems desirable Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.80 per hour

Expected hours: 14 - 30 per week
