Your New Mission: Personal Assistant to a Multi-Faceted Director.
Tired of the same old one-dimensional job? We're not looking for a superhero--we're looking for a logistical mastermind. Our Director is a Sales Director at a major company, a beef farmer, a pony stud owner who shows at county level, and a property developer. In short, they need a professional backup plan to keep a highly complex, fast-paced world spinning smoothly.
We need a supremely organised, adaptable, and discreet Personal Assistant to be the Director's indispensable right-hand. If you thrive in an environment where no two days are alike, and your to-do list involves everything from managing board-level correspondence to tracking a mare's show schedule, this is your chance to shine.
What You'll Be Taming:
The Schedule & Inbox: Taking ownership of complex calendar and inbox management, ensuring no deadline, meeting, or priority is ever missed.
Administrative Command: Executing all general PA administrative tasks with precision and a proactive mindset.
Stakeholder Liaison: Acting as the professional and personable interface between the Director and a vast network, including C-suite executives, shop-floor staff, management teams, customers, and suppliers.
Event Orchestration: Planning and organising key company events, from team functions to management off-sites.
Representation: Attending and contributing to meetings with the Director or confidently representing them in their absence.
The Farm & Field: Providing administrative support for various side ventures, including the beef farm, pony stud, and Staffordshire property development.
What You Bring to the Saddle:
The Right Attitude: You are personable, professional, and hard-working, with an almost obsessive attention to detail.
The Skills: Exceptional communication, organisational, and administrative abilities. You must be highly adaptable and calm under pressure.
The Discretion: Unwavering commitment to discretion and confidentiality when dealing with all professional and personal matters.
The Range: The ability to professionally and effectively interact with everyone from senior management to operational staff.
The Advantage (A Real Bonus!): A genuine interest in agriculture and equestrianism--this will make navigating the Director's non-corporate interests a breeze.
The Logistics:
Location: Hybrid role based at our Uffculme office and/or the Director's home office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday are work-from-home days.
Compensation: 28,000 - 35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
The Kit: You'll receive a car allowance and insurance, along with a laptop and mobile phone.
If you have the professionalism to attend a board meeting and the can-do attitude to deal with a delayed delivery to the farm, we want to hear from you. Apply today and become the vital support system that makes the impossible possible.
Ready to swap the concept of 'work-life balance' for 'work-life synergy' and manage the operational life of an extraordinary director.
