Overview


We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistants to provide high-quality support to individual in a care setting. This role involves assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and promoting independence. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to patient-cantered care and possess relevant experience in healthcare or caregiving environments. Prior experience with special needs populations such as seniors, individuals with learning disabilities, or those with memory impairments is desirable. Responsibilities



Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor and observe patients for any changes in health status or behavior Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of care provided, vital signs, and patient observations Support client during outings or community activities to promote social engagement Ensure a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to client care Respond promptly to emergency situations with appropriate first aid or CPR if certified Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to deliver comprehensive care

Skills



Proven experience in home health, assisted living, hospice care, or nursing home environments is desirable. Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams Compassionate attitude with patience for working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, autism, or memory care needs Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required and maintain physical stamina for long shifts Basic cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to individual dietary restrictions First aid and CPR certification preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain if not already certified

Pay: 12.21-12.24 per hour
