About the Role:
We are looking for a caring and dedicated individual to join our team, supporting secondary-aged pupils at our special school. The role involves providing personal care, assisting with feeding, and supporting pupils with mobility and manual handling as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care and hygiene support to pupils
Assist with feeding and mealtime routines
Support pupils with mobility, including manual handling where necessary
Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists to ensure pupils' comfort, dignity, and engagement in school life
Requirements:
Kind, patient, and reliable
Manual handling training is preferred
Willingness to undertake personal care and additional training as required
Experience working with children with special needs is an advantage but not essential
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Pay: 12.21-14.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
