Personal Care Assistant
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to an elderly lady with dementia who lives in Evanton, Ross-shire, at her home. She is quite amicable and can most often still hold a conversation.
She needs support with prompting with personal care, medication and possibly meals, ensuring her comfort, safety and well-being. May include prompting her to go to bed, when required. 1 or 1 hour shifts at around 5-6.30pm, but this is flexible depending on availability.
Every second weekend will also be required. No day shifts available at this time, but that may change, if you're interested.
There are 2 - 3 other PA's on the team.

is essential, but can be applied for.PAY:
Contract employees: 15.00 on weekdays and 16.00 on weekends. Self-employed: 16.00 on weekdays and 17.00 on weekends.Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Support with daily routines Help with light household chores including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation Monitor and report on clients' health status and any changes in condition Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a respectful and caring environment Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and communicate effectively with team members and family members as needed
Skills
Experience working in a care home or providing home care services is desirable Good communication skills to build rapport with client and collaborate with colleagues Compassionate nature with organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
