Job Overview

I am seeking a compassionate, friendly, flexible, dedicated, patient personal care assistant to provide care and help me in my home.

I have Cerebral Palsy and a wheelchair user. I am looking for someone who is flexible, that can provide cover when needed.

Immediate start, looking for a candidate to work over the Christmas period and into the New Year. This job role is permanent.

Duties

Preparing and cooking meals Transfering from manual to electric wheelchair Assisting with toileting Light housework Companionship, must have good communication skills Driving to appointments or social outings when required (if you are a car driver) Available to provide cover at weekends

Qualifications

Previous experience is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients Good command of English, for effective communication Strong communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and respond appropriately Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support others' wellbeing
