Hours:

Term Time: 4 hours per week after school or weekend to be negotiated



School Holidays: 8 hours per week split across 2 days

Hourly Rate of Pay:

13.00

Based at:

Employer's own home in Gazeley, Suffolk and out in the local community.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic and experienced Personal Assistant to support a lively and engaging 6-year-old boy with Autism. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and has experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing 1:1 support tailored to the child's needs and interests Full support with personal care and toileting. Engaging in fun, active play in the home and at outings Supporting communication and social interaction Promoting independence and confidence in a safe and nurturing environment

Essential Requirements:

Experience working with children with Autism and/or learning disabilities A genuine passion for supporting children Patience, creativity, and a good sense of humour Ability to work flexibly and reliably

Desirable:

Relevant qualifications in childcare, education, or health and social care A driving licence and access to a vehicle
