We have a small team to help look after a 100 year old lady with dementia.she is also palliative care .,We have 24/7 care for this lady so variable call s are available.Must work weekends.Must be able to cover staff sickness holidays.This could be at the last moment if someone does not turn up for there call.
You will also get holiday pay. This position would suit someone rhat has not got another job.
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Care Assistant to join our team in providing compassionate care to individual in her own home. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering home care, and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily activities such as shower dressing,feeding light housework.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to the lady
- Help maintain a clean and safe living environment
- Keep accurate records of care provided
Qualifications
- Previous experience in home care or a care home environment is desirable
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written-
