PA needed to support elderly lady, mid-70s with advance Parkinson's and Dementia.
We are looking for someone who can become a companion to this lady, have a game of noughts and crosses as well reminisce about the past. This lady use to be a nurse and enjoys talking about her experiences in the social care field.
Tasks needed
Meal preparation/cooking meals Making drinks Companionship in the home Supporting to organise clothes in wardrobe and day to day activitiesHours needed
8 hours per week but this can be increased
Availability
Can be flexible to suit you, times and days can be arranged upon discussion
Hourly rate
16.47 per hour for self-employed PA's
Training requirements
We require dementia training and experience working with individuals with Dementia or Parkinson's.
Additional training certificates will need to be provided.
DBS
Please note that even if you have a current DBS, another one will be carried out by North Somerset Council.
