Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in their homes. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of clients. Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Support clients with mobility and transferring, ensuring safety at all times Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring as required Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary needs and preferences Maintain accurate care plans and document any changes in the client's condition Provide companionship and emotional support to clients Assist with light household tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment Drive clients to appointments or social activities Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care

Experience

Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients safely and to travel between care visits Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others' independence and wellbeing

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00-27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
