Personal Care Assistant
Job Description
This PCA job is in conjunction with the WCBC scheme Direct Payments. This scheme has been formed by the government which enables individuals who need care to hand pick their own team. This then allows individuals to tailor their care to their own specific needs.
The individual in question is an MS sufferer. This job role requires the employee to provide support enabling the gentleman to live independently within his own home. Duties within this job role includes all aspects of personal care, preparation of food, feeding meals/drinks, accompanying him for days out/appointments and simplistic domestic tasks. All the required equipment you need to carry out your job with ease is within the establishment. He is also able to communicate verbally perfectly.
Job Requirements:
Care experience preferred but not essential as the right candidate will be supported to complete training in house. Training for nights required.
Must be flexible
Must be punctual
Must be over 18
Uk Driving License (preferred but not essential)
Overtime opportunities due to holidays/sickness cover.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 19 - 24 per week
Work Location: In person
