We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide high-quality support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home care environments. Duties
Assist with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility support
Provide specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols
Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences
Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Manage behaviour effectively through compassionate approaches and behaviour management techniques
Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Support families and loved ones through effective communication and emotional support
Drive clients to appointments or outings as required, ensuring safety during transportation
Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns or changes in condition promptly
Skills
Proven experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care environments
Strong knowledge of patient care, dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and senior care practices
Ability to perform first aid and respond effectively to emergencies
Excellent caregiving skills with a compassionate and patient demeanour
Good organisational skills for managing medication schedules and daily routines
Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance or equipment handling
Competence in meal preparation tailored to individual dietary needs
Effective behaviour management techniques to support clients with behavioural challenges
Valid driving licence for transportation duties; experience in childcare is a plus
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
