Evening Carer
We are looking for a kind and reliable carer to support an elderly lady with her bedtime routine. The role is for approx one hour each evening.
This position would suit a caring local person who is looking for a regular, part-time role.

Responsibilities

Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities Assist with mobility and physical support, including heavy lifting when necessary Support with Alzheimer's care, and behaviour management as needed Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols

Requirements

Previous experience in senior care, home care, or caregiving is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and basic first aid is advantageous Ability to drive is beneficial Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Understanding of the needs of individuals with Alzheimer's or dementia Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs A commitment to providing high-quality care while respecting client dignity
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 15.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 - 10 per week

Work Location: In person
