About us

Brown family in Redcar are still looking for a kind compassionate female carer to be part of an 8 person team. The team provide the best quality of care and attention to our daughter whom has complex needs and requires 24 hour care. This post will best suit a local person who can drive and preferably has their own vehicle to make it easier to do one split shift one late shift and one (night-shift which will commence when you are confident and competent to work alone at night) . We have two to one for all moving and handling, medication and training is thorough and ongoing. This is a wonderful opportunity to work one to one with a very responsive and happy client and her lovely team . It includes help with activities and all personal care needs daily living, peg feeding, safe administration of medication light housekeeping, and transportation to Church outings and shopping . The ideal carer will work as part of a supportive team and also be happy to entertain our daughter independently. Training is provided by professionals as appropriate, family and qualified current carers. As a family we like to keep her carers happy and we value your time off.

Responsibilities:

Provide companionship and emotional support . Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting on a two to one basis. Assist with feeding and clean up. Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, vacuuming, and dusting. Provide transportation to Church medical appointments or errands. Monitor her health and administer medications on a two to one basis as prescribed by the doctor. Assist with physical therapy exercises as prescribed and trained by the physiotherapist
Job Types: Permanent, Temp to perm

Pay: 12.60-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 - 33 per week
