About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a

Personal Lines Account Handler

to join the team. You'll be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of personal insurance clients, ensuring an outstanding customer experience at every stage of the process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance and ideally be familiar with

Acturis

systems. This role suits someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships and delivering a professional, efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

Handle all aspects of personal lines insurance including new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly and professionally to client enquiries. Offer tailored insurance solutions that meet individual client needs. Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive premiums and comprehensive cover. Accurately process policy documentation and maintain client records using Acturis (experience preferred). Build positive relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of personal insurance products and market trends.

About You

Experience in a

Personal Lines Insurance

role within a broking or insurer environment. Knowledge of motor, home, and travel insurance products.

Acturis system experience preferred

(training can be provided for the right candidate). Strong communication and customer service skills. High attention to detail and accuracy in policy administration. Confident working both independently and as part of a team. Cert CII qualified or working towards this qualification (desirable).

Pay: 24,420.00-31,321.57 per year
