Companion Support Worker.

2 hours per week

Hours will be discussed at interview stage flexibility required to suit the needs of the employer.

ROP: 12.60 per hour

Worker required for a young lady who lives with her 2 children and cats. She has multiple health conditions that have made life really tough and accessing the local community almost impossible.

This will be for social support only, company, chats, coffee and lunch. There is no personal care involved.

Duties:

Making or preparing light meals and snacks/coffee.

Going out for coffee, lunch or things within the house.

The lady enjoys crafts.

Experience / Qualifications Required:

Experience of supporting adults with health condition/disabilities would be beneficial but is not a requirement for this post. Moving & Assisting training may be required in the future (can be provided by employer).

Successful applicants will have to provide 2 references (one of which must be your current or most recent employer) and undergo a New PVG Disclosure at the employers cost.

Applicants must be flexible regarding hours of work and be able to work extra hours in the event of the employers health deteriorating as she will require extra support. In future, hours may increase and you must also be willing to cover holidays / sickness for other members of staff.
