We are currently seeking a

Personal Tax Assistant

to join our expanding team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in tax, with full training and support provided in a dynamic and award-winning environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in managing a portfolio of personal tax clients including company directors, business owners, high-value employees, and high-net-worth individuals. Prepare income tax and capital gains tax computations, including CGT 60-day reports. Support the preparation of P11Ds and employment-related securities returns. Help draft initial responses to HMRC enquiries. Conduct research into technical tax matters and present findings clearly and practically. Deliver exceptional client service and build strong relationships.

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in starting a career in personal tax. Strong academic background with excellent analytical and numerical skills. Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal. High attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative team spirit. This role is well-suited to someone who values stability and consistency in their career — progression opportunities are available, but not expected.
