Envision Education is recruiting for an enthusiastic and dynamic

PE / Sports Cover Supervisor

to join a mainstream secondary school in

Greenford, Ealing

. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about sport, fitness, and working with young people, who is ready to support students both in PE and across the wider school.

About the Role:

In this role, you will supervise classes in the absence of the teacher, ensuring a calm and productive learning environment. As a PE specialist, you will support practical PE sessions, sports activities, and after-school clubs, helping students stay engaged and active.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise students across a range of subjects when the class teacher is absent and maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Deliver and supervise

practical PE lessons

, ensuring students remain safe, engaged, and on task. Support with

after-school clubs

and PE fixtures. Assist with administrative duties and contribute to wider school activities. Take on possible Form Tutor responsibilities where required.

Requirements:

Experience in

sports coaching

or leading physical activities. A positive attitude, flexibility, and a strong can-do mindset. Experience working with young people aged

11-16

(school setting preferred). Strong communication and behaviour-management skills. Relevant sports or education qualifications are desirable.
