The role involves:

Watching and monitoring the store and ensuring customers have a great experience.

Serving customers and being responsible for cash handing / card payments.

Assisting with stock control and management within the store including accepting and checking new deliveries, manual lifting of heavy stock, re-stocking shelves, rotating stock, date checking and ensuring the store is fully stocked at all times.

Providing general advice and guidance to customers on shop products, services and offers.

General cleaning and housekeeping within the store.

Awareness of security in the store including looking out for shoplifters, fraudulent money and fraudulent bank cards.

About you:

Previous experience within a petrol station or retail environment preferred

Fully flexible to work a variety of shifts including early starts and late finishes

Willing to provide support and cover for holidays and sickness when required

A passion for delivering world class service

An excellent work ethic and ability to use own initiative

A positive attitude and professional demeanour

A friendly and engaging personality

A strong desire to learn and develop

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Weekend availability
Work Location: In person
