Pharmaceutical Technician

to join their friendly and professional team. This is a key role within the pharmacy, supporting the pharmacist and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in the dispensary.

Responsibilities

Dispense prescriptions accurately under pharmacist supervision Use PMR systems to process and manage prescriptions Provide excellent customer service and respond to patient queries Manage stock levels, including ordering, receiving, and rotating Support the preparation of monitored dosage systems (MDS/blister packs) Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant dispensary environment Assist in promoting and delivering NHS and private pharmacy services Maintain confidentiality and follow all procedures and policies.

Requirements

Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred but not essential; training provided Strong knowledge of medication administration and patient care Excellent verbal and written communication skills, focused on customer service Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards Relevant qualifications are a plus but not mandatory
