You'll play a vital role in developing and mentoring your team, supported by our experienced management support teams. Whether you're newly qualified or looking to progress in your pharmacy career, we'd be pleased to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead a team:

Provide leadership and support to a committed pharmacy team focused on delivering excellent patient care.

Deliver high-quality care:

With reduced administrative duties, you'll have more time to concentrate on supporting patients through NHS Wales services.

Drive performance:

Develop an understanding of NHS Wales pharmacy

Coach and develop others:

Guide and mentor your team while benefitting from structured training and ongoing professional development.

Support & Innovations:



Independent Prescriber (IP) training support

to help you expand your clinical role.

Hub-and-spoke dispensing model

in place to reduce dispensing pressures and enhance patient-facing time.

Accredited Checking Technicians (ACTs)

in branches to support accurate and efficient dispensing.

Focus on service delivery:

We are committed to providing a wide range of NHS Wales community pharmacy services, including: Common Ailments Service (CAS) Emergency Medicine Supply Contraception Services Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Discharge Medicines Review (DMR) Smoking Cessation Services

Service training support

to ensure you are confident and competent to deliver NHS Wales services in collaboration with HEIW*
A

collaborative and supportive culture

, with accessible senior leadership and peer networking across branches. M W Phillips Chemists is compliant with Wales - EPS requirements.

What We're Looking For:



MPharm degree (or equivalent) GPhC registration (or expected by start date) A patient-centred approach and strong communication skills Flexibility to work across multiple branches in Wales when needed Enthusiasm for clinical services and team development

Primarily based at our

Vere Street

branch You may also be asked to work across other

branches

in the

surrounding area
