Clarkston Medical is excited to launch a new pharmacist role across our two GP practices, serving over 15,500 patients in East Renfrewshire. We're looking for an enthusiastic, motivated pharmacist to join our friendly, forward-thinking team.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support

Review blood results for your own patients and support nurses' blood monitoring.

Conduct review appointments in CDM.

Support patients presenting with minor conditions, providing clinical assessment and prescribing where appropriate.

Monitor NPT patients in line with practice protocols.

Oversee DMARDs management and monitoring.

Medication Management

Provide advice on medications to patients and staff, reducing GP workload.

Act as the first point of contact for medication-related queries.

Prepare prescribing reports, audits, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Administrative Support & Training

Check and action discharge letters and other documents

Train administrative staff on medication safety and best practices.

Professional Responsibilities

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with local and national prescribing guidelines.

Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings and support integrated care initiatives.

Who we're looking for:

A qualified prescriber with clinical experience in primary care/community pharmacy.

Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop this new role.
