What You'll Be Doing:

Conduct online consultations to assess patient suitability for GLP-1 weight loss treatments. Prescribe medications in line with internal protocols, risk assessments, and clinical SOPs. Support patients from initial assessment to ongoing care and maintenance, ensuring continuity and safety throughout their weight loss journey. Educate patients on medication use, possible side effects, expectations, and lifestyle guidance. Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in line with legal and clinical standards. Collaborate with a team of experienced pharmacist prescribers to ensure consistent, high-quality care. Respond to patient queries regarding their treatment, progress, and next steps, offering guidance and reassurance where needed.

What You'll Bring:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist Qualification as an Independent Prescriber (IP) Previous prescribing experience is desirable Experience prescribing GLP-1s is desirable Familiarity with GPhC guidelines for online pharmacies and the current clinical guidelines for prescribing of injectable weight loss treatments Excellent attention to detail and patient safety Strong written and verbal communication skills Genuine interest in weight management and a passion for improving access to healthcare
