Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist Manager to lead the team and make a difference at our pharmacy in Rise Park.


This community pharmacy is located on a busy high street with good links to public transport. It has a great relationship with the GP surgery and offers real potential to increase the delivery of NHS and private services.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 6500 items a month It provides a wide range of services including BP, ABPM, NMS, DMS, MDS, contraception, pharmacy first, flu & Covid vaccinating, WMS. It provides services to substance misuse patients It dispenses 15 community blisters monthly

This pharmacy is open

8:45am

until

6:15pm

, Monday - Friday

and

9am-1pm Saturday

. The dynamic team at this pharmacy is comprised of 2 full time qualified pharmacy assistants.


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is required for this opportunity.


You'll be focussed on leading your team to deliver the best community pharmacy experience for your patients and customers.


You'll be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
