Pharmacist (part Time)
Job Description
McKay Pharmacy is a leading family run pharmacy group with a strong community led focus and an ethos of innovation and excellent patient care. We have 3 branches (Belfast / Newtownards / Templepatrick), each situated beside several busy GP practices, and with well established relationships with the local community and local Care Homes.
We are currently looking for a pharmacist to join our team on a part-time basis, working approx 2 days per week. The role would require you to be flexible to work across all 3 branches, being allocated the location on a rotational basis in advance. At present the days are likely to be a Thursday and a Friday, with scope for additional days as required for rota cover.
You would be working alongside a talented and knowledgeable team of Pharmacists, Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technicians and Dispensing Technicians to deliver a range of commissioned pharmacy services.

Qualified Pharmacist, registered and in good standing with Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland Strong post-qualification experience in a busy pharmacy IT Literate and familiar with Windows based computer systems Able to deal with high volume prescription requirements and able to manage a fast turnaround of work Display excellent attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy
Desirable Criteria
Sound working knowledge of McLernons Pharmacy Software System Experience in providing services to Care Homes Experience of delivering services / patient clinics, including vaccines
