Are you a newly qualified pharmacist or an experienced pharmacist looking for a new challenge? Are you an Independent Prescriber?

Pritchards is a long established independent pharmacy business based in Prestatyn on the beautiful North Wales coast. We are looking to recruit a patient-focused pharmacist with an interest in providing pharmacy services to join our team. We already offer a range of pharmacy services, including Independent Prescribing, and are keen to develop these further.

We can offer you a healthy work-life balance. We are based at the edge of the Clwydian Range Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and we are within driving distance of the cities of Chester, Liverpool and Manchester to the east and the Eryri National Park (Snowdonia) to the west.

You will be part of our friendly team of pharmacists and support staff including ACT's. We have two branches and were the first pharmacy in Wales to install a pharmacy robot. You should have good IT and communication skills and be able demonstrate an excellent approach to team working. You should be dependable and willing to provide and develop services for our patients to a high standard. A commitment to ongoing continuing professional development is necessary and supported. We currently have three pharmacists working as Independent Prescribers offering services in oral contraception and acute conditions and we are keen to extend these roles across the business. We have excellent links with our local primary and secondary care colleagues, and we are part of the All-Wales multi-sector foundation trainee pharmacist programme.

The post is full time, although part-time or job share candidates are also welcome to apply.
