Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable and ACTIVE Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care. The Pharmacist will work to support the management team in the day to day running of this pharmacy.

The pharmacy needs an enthusiastic pharmacist to bring fresh ideas to the pharmacy. Increasing in services provided to the locality.

Experience with Proscript Connect advantageous but not essential. (Scriptcheck automated being introduced very soon)

Experience with private services advantageous but not essential.

Commission/Bonus incentives are available for the right candidate.

Options to include progression into I.P. pathfinder programme

We have two opportunities available-

1) 8am start- early finish

2) late start- 9pm finish

Responsibilities

Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals regarding medication therapy management, including potential drug interactions and side effects. Conduct services. Maintain accurate records of all prescriptions dispensed and monitor patient progress related to medication therapy. Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay current with advancements in pharmacotherapy and best practices.

Requirements

A valid Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) Proven skills in maintaining dispensary procedures Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of pharmacy practice.

Pay: 46,057.00-55,197.00 per year
