Overview of the role

We are looking for an experienced Pharmacist to join the team and make a difference at our pharmacy Thornhill, Southampton, This is a fixed term contract covering Maternity initially for 12 months from September 2025.

How our pharmacy makes a difference:

It dispenses 9k items a month It provides a wide range of services including all NHS essential services and Covid, private vaccines, flu, pharmacy first It provides services to 40 substance misuse patients It dispenses 40 community blisters

This pharmacy is open 9-6 Monday - Friday & the dynamic team includes


3x full time qualified PA


1x part time TPA


1x part time Team lead


The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate must possess an MPharm degree or equivalent and management experience is desired but not essential. You will be required to have your GPhC registration upon your start date.

You'll be supported in your role by an Area Operations Manager and a Regional Operations Manager, with regular structured pharmacy visits


We have invested in new technologies for our pharmacies including a new PMR system and centralised dispensing to allow you to focus on providing quality care and services to our customers.


We are focussed on mental health and wellbeing which is why we've put all our field managers through the Mental Health Awareness course to raise awareness and enable a greater level of support when working in our pharmacies.
