We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Check dispensed medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide medication administration guidance and support to patients and other healthcare professionals, including counselling on proper usage and potential side effects.
Conduct thorough medication reviews for patients.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide the best care tailored to individual needs.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of anatomy and pharmacology to provide informed recommendations regarding medication therapies.
Educate patients and fellow healthcare professionals about medications, health conditions, and wellness strategies.
Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with advancements in pharmacy practice.
Experience
A degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution is essential.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is required.
Previous experience in a busy pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
Demonstrated skills in patient care are crucial for success in this role.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
