This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has initiative and is not afraid of hard work. You will be a warm and friendly face for the many patients who visit the pharmacy on a daily basis, advising them on over the counter medication and dispensing of patient medicines.

Reporting directly to the Pharmacist Manager, your support is vital to the pharmacist in the provision of many different services. You will be part of a hard-working and established team working in the dispensary, and will be involved in developing relationships with patients and surgeries in order to ensure that we deliver the most effective customer service. Responsibilities & Duties:

\xc2\xb7 To support and assist all members of the pharmacy team.

\xc2\xb7 To dispense prescriptions accurately and professionally within legal and company guidelines.

\xc2\xb7 To assist in the destruction of returned controlled drugs with the pharmacist.

\xc2\xb7 Accurately check prescriptions and MDS packs after clinical screening by the Pharmacist.

\xc2\xb7 To comply with the GPHC code of conduct and ethics.

\xc2\xb7 Ensure the correct storage of the medication, ensure good stock rotation and monitor and check expiry dates.

\xc2\xb7 Sort and file prescriptions and other relevant paperwork as per the Company\xe2\x80\x99s Standard Operating Procedure.

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for cashing up and banking.

\xc2\xb7 Maintain a clean & tidy environment.

\xc2\xb7 Liaise with GP surgeries and their teams to enable the pharmacy to deliver the highest possible customer service.

Qualifications & Skill\xe2\x80\x99s:

*You will hold an NVQ2 or equivalent in Pharmacy Services or dispensing.

*You must have your Checking Qualification.

*Be registered to the GPHC.

*You must have basic IT knowledge and good customer service skills.

*Also to be able to perform well under pressure, and work as part of a team.
