We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic person to join our team.
The successful candidate will have experience of working in dispensary environments. As a key member of our dispensary team, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing the following pharmacy services:
Responsibility for legal, safe & ethical decision-making in the pharmacy
Conducting the final accuracy check for prescriptions that have been clinically checked by a pharmacist
Complying with legal and professional requirements
Tailoring conversations with every customer to ensure they leave the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs and coaching other pharmacy team members to do the same
Seeking opportunities to engage external stakeholders to secure locally commissioned services and drive services and items
Delivering efficient dispensary operations and ensures dispensing losses are minimised
Ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing and endorsing prescriptions
Ideally NVQ 3 qualified with an Accuracy Checking qualification, the successful candidate will help to deliver a technician led dispensary service which will operate with strong independence and a good supporting team.

Our ideal candidate will offer some flexibility, and be prepared to work as part of a team. Ideally we would like to find a part time member of staff about 15-20 hours per week ( days & timings negotiable).
