Wrington Pharmacy is looking for an apprentice to work, study and gain the apprenticeship Pharmacy Technician qualification over the next 2 years. Successful completion of the GPhC accredited Pharmacy Technician course and subject to meeting other professional criteria, will lead to the ability to register as a professional Pharmacy Technician.
The job will involve working in the dispensary - preparing and dispensing medicines, working in the pharmacy retail area - serving at the counter and providing general pharmaceutical healthcare advice. This role will also provide clinical services, after specific training is undertaken, such as becoming a vaccinator. There are two afternoons of paid study leave a week which can be done at home or in the pharmacy to enable completion of the course tasks and requirements.
Previous pharmacy experience or dispensary or medicines counter assistant qualification is highly desirable but not essential - in house training provided
