Pharmacy Aseptic Production Technician
Job Description
Manufacture a wide range of aseptically prepared products for use within the Trust and by external customers. The department has an annual workload of approximately 50,000 items. Undertake effective disinfection of the unit and products to ensure a sterile environment for product manufacture. Take microbiological samples to demonstrate effective environmental control.
Partake in the manufacture of drugs for up to 40 on-going clinical trials. Perform pre and in-process production checks. The post holder is guided by departmental procedures, good manufacturing practice and hospital policies.
