Here at Bradford College, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our expanding Health Science, Meditech and Technology department as a Pharmacy Assessor/Trainer. The Pharmacy Assessor/Trainer will provide support to the Head of School of Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Skills Lead in undertaking the skills assessment of Pharmacy courses.
As part of this role you will ensure that these courses meet the needs of students, business and the community and that students receive a high-quality experience whilst ensuring quality and financial targets are met.
Please note that these roles are Fixed Term for a period of 5 Months and there are various contracts available both Part Time and Full Time.
Interviews for these positions will take place on the 7th, 9th and 10th July.
Responsibilities include:
To undertake planning and assessment/verification duties at a level agreed with the Pharmacy Skills Lead.
To work with the Pharmacy Skills Lead to maximise student enrolment.
Ensure overall outstanding quality of learning and assessment/verification across the courses.
To work with the Pharmacy Skills Lead and alongside the Pharmacy Skills team to ensure that retention, progress, attainment and destinations targets are met.
To work with the Pharmacy Skills Lead and alongside the Pharmacy Skills team to ensure course, student and employer satisfaction benchmarks are met each year.
To ensure full compliance first time with all College procedures.
To participate in Course Committees and make decisions in relation to the efficiency and effectiveness of the designated training programmes.
To induct and support learners in achieving their qualifications in line with awarding body assessment practices within agreed timescales ensuring timely completion.
To undertake accurate assessment, provide constructive and comprehensive feedback and correct any grammatical/spelling errors.
To participate in standardisation meetings.
To support learners in online skills sessions and inductions.
To undertake regular reviews with learners.
To support the Pharmacy Skills Lead with the End Point Assessment process.
To co-ordinate and maintain assessment/training records as designated by the Pharmacy Skills Lead.
Ensure recommendations of internal verifies are implemented promptly.
Conduct internal verification.
Assist in the development of learning materials
Aim to achieve outstanding success rates
Comply with all College quality systems and awarding body procedures necessary to ensure accurate, complete and robust data.
To comply with College Equality and Diversity policies and procedures.
To undertake additional duties that may be required commensurate with the level of responsibility of the post.
