Part-time pharmacy assistant required
We are an independent pharmacy in Southampton providing high quality patient-centered care to the local community. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic pharmacy assistant to join our friendly and professional team. Experience in pharmacy is preferred but not essential as training will be provided.
The ideal candidate would be a good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This is a customer facing role which will require a high level of customer care and attention. Basic IT skills are also essential.
This is a part-time position, approximately 20-30 hours per week. Working hours can be discussed with the manager at interview but a degree of flexibility will be required.
Roles and responsibilities include:
Customer service
Maintaining the shop floor and keeping it clean and tidy
Ordering and putting away stock
Assisting with pharmacy services e.g. taking blood pressure
Answering queries on the telephone and email
General pharmacy administrative duties
General housekeeping
Pharmacy/retail experience is preferable.
