We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Counter Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that patients receive their medications accurately and efficiently. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care while adhering to all regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Accurately advise patient on minor ailments while helping them with best solutuon to minor ailment queries
Assist in the preparation and packaging of medications for distribution.
Provide information to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage instructions.
Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and pharmacists to ensure smooth workflow within the pharmacy.
Conduct regular checks on medication stock levels and assist in reordering supplies as necessary.
Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge of medication administration and patient care.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Pharmacy Counter Asistant or in a similar role is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of medication administration processes and patient care principles.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals, demonstrating empathy and professionalism.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
