Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while assisting with medication administration and patient care. Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries regarding medications and services. Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all regulations. Provide information to patients about medication usage, potential side effects, and storage requirements. Assist in managing inventory levels of medications and supplies, ensuring the counter is well-stocked. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area to promote a welcoming environment for patients. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care. Handle transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and customer interactions.

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration practices is advantageous. A background in patient care will be beneficial for providing exceptional service to our clients. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective interaction with customers and team members. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail is crucial for success in this role.
