Responsibilities

Greet customers courteously and provide assistance at the pharmacy counter Support patient with advice and counter productz Assist patients with medication collection, ensuring proper identification and documentation Provide information on over-the-counter products and health-related questions within scope of practice Maintain accurate records of transactions and patient interactions Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the counter area Support medication administration procedures under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth patient care delivery

Requirements

Previous pharmacy assistantexperience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Basic knowledge of medication and patient care Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional manner Organised with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in transactions and record keeping Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment A genuine interest in healthcare and supporting patient well-being Flexibility to work during pharmacy opening hours Computer literate
