Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Counter Assistant to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with the handing out of medication to patients in the community, and supporting the smooth operation of the pharmacy counter. Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their pharmacy needs Provide information on over-the-counter products and health-related queries Maintain organised stock levels and ensure the pharmacy counter is clean and tidy Process prescriptions efficiently using pharmacy software systems Assist in managing patient records and confidential information securely Collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient care

Qualifications

Previous pharmacy experience is desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Basic IT skills A professional attitude committed to maintaining high standards of confidentiality and safety

Job Type: Part-time
