Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Counter Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while assisting with patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our counter services. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries. Promote pharmacy services Able to recommend medications/ vitamins/ products to customers Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Provide information regarding medication administration and patient care as needed. Maintain an organised and clean counter area to ensure a welcoming environment for customers. Collaborate with pharmacy team to support medication dispensing processes. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales. Assist in managing inventory levels, including restocking supplies as necessary. Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction.

Requirements - Essential requirements

Previous experience in a customer service role is essential. Knowledge of over the counter medication essential. Familiarity with pharmacy technician duties is an advantage. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
