About the Role

Little Waltham and Great Notley Surgery has an opportunity for a counterassistant to join our busy pharmacy team at Brook Hill, working at the heart of our patient care service. There may be some days where you will need to be flexible and travel to Great Notley to cover annual leave.



This is a part-time role for 10.25 hours per week working: Monday 9am - 2pm, Wednesday 7.45am -1pm and Saturday mornings on a rota basis.



The main responsibilities of the role include:


Greeting customers and patients coming into the pharmacy. Taking in and handing out prescriptions. Maintaining the shop floor. Selling over the counter products and cashing up.

You will need to be flexible to cover for holidays and staff absence.

About the Candidate

You will have the following skills and experience:

Ideally have previous experience in a similar role. Experience of working in a busy, public environment. Be flexible, with a positive attitude. Demonstrate good team working and communication skills. Demonstrate an excellent standard of patient care.

About Us

We are a 2-site, friendly training practice with over 21,000 patients. You will be supported by our team of 14 doctors, 3 nurse practitioners, nurses, healthcare assistants, receptionist, and admin team.
