Central Pharmacy on West End Lane is seeking a

friendly, enthusiastic, and experienced Pharmacy Counter Assistant

to join our growing community pharmacy team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment where patient care and customer service are at the heart of everything we do.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, assisting patients, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

Advising patients on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products Receiving and processing prescriptions accurately Supporting the safe supply of medicines under the supervision of the Pharmacist Selling health, beauty, and pharmacy products Stock checking, ordering, and general stock management Maintaining a clean, organised, and well-stocked shop floor Assisting with pharmacy services, including vaccination clinics when required General pharmacy and administrative duties Undertaking training in pharmacy-related procedures and services
We are looking for someone who is:

Approachable, friendly, and confident when dealing with patients Passionate about delivering excellent customer service Fluent in spoken and written English IT literate and comfortable using pharmacy systems Well organised, accurate, and able to work using their own initiative A strong team player with a willingness to learn and develop

Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience is required
