We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Dispensary Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Dispensary Supervisor, you will ensure compliance with all regulations, manage pharmacy staff, and maintain high standards of patient care.

Duties

Lead and manage the pharmacy team, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development. Ensure the delivery of outstanding customer service by addressing patient needs and resolving any issues promptly. Oversee the dispensing of medications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal and ethical standards. Maintain inventory levels, including ordering and managing stock to ensure efficiency in operations. Implement and monitor pharmacy policies and procedures to comply with healthcare regulations and best practices. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and medication management. Utilise IT systems for record keeping, inventory management, and reporting purposes. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new products, services, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a pharmacy setting, with prior managerial experience preferred. Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with staff and patients alike. Proficiency in IT systems relevant to pharmacy operations; familiarity with electronic health records is advantageous.
