Newgate Lane Pharmacy, Mansfield have an exciting opportunity for a NVQ level 2 Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. Our pharmacy team is made up of experienced pharmacists, technicians and dispensers. This well established team is ready to open its arms to a new team player due to company growth.

As a Pharmacy Dispenser you will work in a well equipped independent community pharmacy with an experienced Manager and dispensary team that delivers a wide range of Pharmacy services to the local community.

We are looking for a dispenser who can join us Monday - Friday 09:00-17.30 and every Saturday 09.00-12.00, however this can be flexible for the right candidate.

Your main responsibilities will be :-

To dispense items under the supervision of the Pharmacist, both normal packages and assembling blister packs To receive and check prescriptions To give advice on "P" and "OTC" medicines and prescriptions to customers as appropriate To order stock and take responsibility for stock control To receive, unpack and check deliveries from suppliers To ensure stock rotation and carry out date checks To use the electronic prescription service
Qualifications and Skills

Essential Skills :-

Accredited Dispensary Assistants qualification or equivalent (e.g NPA/Buttercups) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills The ability to multi task. work well within a team autonomously and in a very busy dispensary.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.40-13.00 per hour
