40 per week, Monday-Friday, 9:00-17:00 (30-minute paid lunch)

Salary:

64,000-66,000 + share options (valued as a % of salary)

About Us

Universal Medpal Pharmacy is a Distance Selling Pharmacy (DSP) delivering safe, efficient, person-centred services nationwide. We operate Titan PMR with capacity for 15 workstations and a dispensing robot to drive accuracy, speed, and scale.

The Role

We're looking for a Pharmacist Manager to lead day-to-day operations with a strong emphasis on clinical governance, service quality, and NHS service delivery. You'll be the accountable lead for quality, safety, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Lead clinical governance: SOP ownership, audits, incident management, and continuous improvement. Oversee end-to-end dispensing across Titan PMR and automation; optimise accuracy, throughput, and right-first-time rates. Deliver, monitor, and grow NHS services in line with current frameworks. Provide clinical leadership for medicines optimisation, remote support, and safe supply. Manage, mentor, and rota a multidisciplinary team across up to 15 workstations. Ensure regulatory compliance (GPhC standards, NHS contractual requirements, data protection). Build effective relationships with patients, prescribers, commissioners, and external stakeholders. Track KPIs and drive operational excellence and cost-effective workflow.

About You

GPhC-registered pharmacist (current good standing). Proven experience in community pharmacy management; DSP/technology-enabled workflows a plus. Strong grasp of clinical governance, risk management, and service quality. Confident with digital PMR systems (Titan experience beneficial) and automation. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder skills. Calm under pressure with a meticulous eye for detail.
