Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the operations of our pharmacy. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to exceptional customer service, and the ability to effectively communicate with both staff and customers. This role requires a keen understanding of pharmacy IT systems and processes to ensure efficient operations and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

Manage daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies. Lead and mentor pharmacy staff, fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and ensuring the accuracy of medication dispensation. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care and medication management. Implement new technologies and IT systems to enhance pharmacy efficiency and patient safety. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on best practices in pharmacy operations and customer service.

Experience

Proven experience in a pharmacy management role or similar position is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a commitment to patient care. Proficiency in pharmacy IT systems and software applications is highly desirable. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders. Must be service orientated to grow our prescription business and our additional private services such as travel vaccines, weight loss clinics, smoking cessation and driving all the pharmacy services.
