Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to support our pharmacy team in delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will assist with medication dispensing, patient interactions, and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations. Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in medication administration is highly desirable. Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently Provide excellent customer service to patients, answering queries and offering guidance where appropriate Support medication administration procedures under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards Maintain organised and up-to-date patient records and pharmacy inventory Prepare prescription labels and packaging in accordance with legal and safety requirements Support the pharmacy team with administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and stock management Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in medication administration is preferred Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is advantageous A genuine interest in healthcare and patient wellbeing Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
