Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Gillbrae Pharmacy. The job role will be predominately Mon- Fri with the occasional weekend.

As an integral part of our team you will be responsible for welcoming patients into the pharmacy, handling over the counter sales and providing advice under the supervision of the pharmacist.

Responsibilities

Welcome patients into the pharmacy Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and receiving deliveries. Provide exceptional customer service by answering queries and addressing concerns related to medications. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Process prescriptions and manage patient records with confidentiality and precision. Support the pharmacy team in administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining records.

Skills

Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with customers and team members. Previous retail experience Basic knowledge of pharmaceuticals and medical terminology is advantageous. Proficiency in using computer systems for managing prescriptions and inventory. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
