An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Pharmacy Logistics Team as a Pharmacy Support Worker (Band 2). This is a varied and rewarding role supporting several key operational units within the department. The various units within the department includes; Invoicing, Purchasing, Receipts, Distribution, and Top-Up Services.



The post holder will rotate between these areas to gain broad experience and provide essential support in achieving departmental objectives. It is expected that the successful candidate will initially be based within the Invoicing Unit for the first six months before being reassigned to other sections as part of their development.



You will be part of a friendly and supportive team committed to maintaining a high-quality and efficient pharmacy service that underpins patient care across the Trust. Full on-the-job training will be provided, with opportunities to work towards a recognised qualification and progress within the department.



We are looking for someone who is reliable, organised, and eager to learn. Attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team are essential.

You'll need to show



The ability to work in a team and independently.



Proven standard of numeracy and literacy - (A- C or 4-9 in English and Maths (If qualifications gained outside the UK evidence of equivalent standards must be demonstrated at interview).


Demonstrate good IT skills - Microsoft Applications such as Excel and Word.



Demonstrate good attention to detail.



Good written & verbal communication skills.



Demonstrate a motivated, common-sense approach to work with an awareness of the UHS Trust values.
