Job Description

We are a Multi award winning pharmacy group and we are currently seeking a qualified and motivated Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) to join our dynamic community pharmacy team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to take on a pivotal role in the dispensary, working closely with the pharmacist and playing a key part in the day-to-day running of the pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities:

Work alongside the pharmacist to ensure safe, efficient, and accurate dispensing of medications Serve as the Duty Manager of the Dispensary, leading by example and maintaining high professional standards Manage and support the dispensary team, promoting a positive and collaborative working environment Apply your full range of technical skills to support patient care Be trained and work under Patient Group Directions (PGDs), expanding your scope of practice Assist in the continuous improvement of pharmacy services and patient experience

Who We're Looking For:

A qualified Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT) registered with the GPhC Strong leadership and communication skills A team player who can also take initiative and manage responsibilities independently Previous experience in community pharmacy is preferred Passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and supporting the pharmacy team

Summary



As a Pharmacy Technician ACT, you will be an essential member of the healthcare team, responsible for providing patient care and ensuring the safe administration of medications. Reporting to the pharmacy manager, you will utilize your pharmacy technician experience and strong communication skills to assist in medication dispensing and patient consultations. Your computer literacy will aid in maintaining accurate records and managing inventory effectively. By leveraging your core and premium skills, you will contribute to the overall health and well-being of patients in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities



Assist in providing patient care by accurately dispensing medications and ensuring proper medication administration. Utilize computer systems to manage pharmacy records and inventory efficiently. Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to address inquiries and provide medication counseling. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to optimize workflow and enhance patient service.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,040.00-33,600.00 per year
